Title:
Principal Programmer Analyst
Duties:
Work with the business users to understand requirements and translate requirements into technical solutions. Work with technical team to develop technical specifications, and code and test programs and full applications. Responsible for conversion and interfaces of data from legacy COBOL applications to Oracle applications; data warehouse design and implementation; and development of business applications supporting Oracle application functionality.
Qualifications Required (Skill Set):
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or Computer Information Systems or related discipline.
Two years of experience which must have involved:
- business applications analysis and development;
- database design, administration, monitoring and tuning;
- Oracle relational database management system on UNIX server; and
- PL/SQL; and UNIX script writing.
Included must have been one year of experience in:
- SQR;
- Developer 2000 or other related GUI development tools; and
- manufacturing applications
