Foreign National Employees Can Now Check Their Case Status on the U.S. Department of Labor's Website

The U.S. Department of Labor ("DOL") has launched a new website at which foreign national employees and U.S. employers can directly check on the status of a labor certification application pending at a DOL Backlog Elimination Center ("BEC"). The URL address ishttp://www.pbls.doleta.gov/pbls_pds.cfm. In order to check on the status of the case, the user will need to possess a case number beginning with either "D" for Dallas BEC cases or "P" for Philadelphia BEC cases.

You can locate your BEC case number on our Immigration Tracker database under the Labor Certification case record. The Labor Certification case record under non-PERM cases will be either Labor Cert NW (Non-RiR) or Labor Cert RiR (for Reduction in Recruitment cases). Click on "Process Detail" and you will find an entry for "DOL Case Number." You should also have received a copy of our response to the DOL BEC 45 day letter which also bears this case number.
