The US Department of Labor (DOL) has extended the deadline for submitting RiR conversion requests on labor certification applications pending at the DOL Backlog Elimination Centers until midnight on Monday, January 22, 2007. The no fault nature of the conversion opportunity means that the DOL will suspend sending the employer recruitment instructions if it receives the employer's e-mail containing an election decision by the deadline.
